: Vice Admiral Soonil Vasant Bhokare, Commandant of Indian Naval Academy atEzhimala in Kannur district, has been awarded the Ati VishishtSeva Medal.
An INA release, quoting a communication from the President's Secretariat, said today that he presented the medal to Bhokare at the DefenceInvestiture Ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on April 6 "for his distinguished service to the nation.
