The 10th India-Mongolia joint army exercise culminated here today.
Brig. SC Panwar of Indian Army stated that the exercise, which began on January 23, has enhanced interoperability of the two militaries for counter terrorism and insurgency assignments under the United Nations mandate as and when required.
Brig. Gen. Enkhbaatar of the Mongolian Army addressed the participants and said that the training would contribute significantly towards personnel from the two armies operating jointly on United Nations assignments.
He also stated that understanding of each other's method of carrying out operational and logistical tasks was an important takeaway from the joint exercise, an official statement said.
