The Joint Coordination Committee comprising apex tribal organisations in Nagaland today decided to call off the indefinite bandh following an understanding with the state government to postpone the February one poll to urban local bodies.

According to a separate statement issued by the Chief Minister's office, the Nagaland government has agreed in principle to defer the ULB elections.
