Indefinite curfew in the northwest Pakistan's Swat district continued for the consecutive fourth day today.

The curfew was imposed after killing of several members of the local peace committees by the unknown militants.

Security forces continued search operation and arrested dozens of suspects in the district.

Pakistani authorities had clamped the curfew in Kanju, Nangolai, Bara Bandai, Koza Bandai, Sher Palam, Shakar Darra and other parts of the Swat district after the killings of local Aman (peace) Committee members.

Pakistan military in June had launched the Operation 'Zarb-i-Azb' against the Taliban in North Waziristan bordering Afghanistan to flush out the militant group's strongholds.
