Independence Day celebrated at INA

A ceremonial parade in commemoration of the 71st Independence Day was held today at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) AT Ezhimala in Kannur district.

Vice Admiral S V Bhokare, Commandant of the INA reviewed the parade comprising 50 armed cadets along with 28 platoons from the Academy.

The Vice admiral who greeted the participants on the occasion, stressed the need to link every individual action to the interest of the nation in order to take India to greater heights.

He also highlighted the security challenges the country was facing and exhorted those present to be vigilant and improve themselves professionally and personally, an INA release said.
 

The civilian fraternity, families, children from neighboring schools, and children of the officers at the INA witnessed the parade.
