The Speaker has accepted it and the technicalities for joining BJP have been resolved, he said.

To a question on his role in the BJP in future, Shetty said he would fulfill whatever responsibility was given to him by the party.

On the reported opposition to his entry into the party from some BJP local leaders, he said the state leaders would find a solution to the problems within the party in Kundapur.
