India beat Bangladesh by seven wickets

India defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in the rain-affected first ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium here today.

India, set a revised target of 150 in 26 overs after rain halted play for more than two hours, got home in 24.5 overs.

Brief scores: Bangladesh 272 for nine in 50 overs (Mushfiqur Rahim 56, Shakib Al Hasan 52; Umesh Yadav 3/48, Amit Mishra 2/55, Parvez Rasool 2/60); India 153 for three in 24.5 overs (Robin Uthappa 50, Ajinkya Rahane 64; Al Hasan 2/27).
