India beat South Africa by 22 runs

India defeated South Africa by 22 runs in the second One-day International match at the Holkar Cricket Stadium here today.

Electing to bat, India scored 247 for nine in the stipulated 50 overs and then bowled out South Africa for 225 in 43.4 overs to level the five-match series at 1-1.

India: 247/9 in 50 overs (Mahendra Singh Dhoni 92 not out, Ajinkya Rahane 51; Dale Steyn 3/49, Morne Morkel 2/42, Imran Tahir 2/42)

South Africa: 225 all out in 43.4 overs (Faf du Plessis 51; Axar Patel 3/39, B Kumar 3/41).
