India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) is all set to make its maiden international journey by hosting its next edition in London.

The fashion extravaganza organised by Aamby Valley, which opened its first edition in Delhi this year after running successfully for three years in Mumbai, will take its exuberant Indian bridal collection to the UK capital.

"We are happy to inform you that from 2014 onwards, IBFW will also happen in London along with its Mumbai and Delhi editions. I feel that Indian fashion will find its good value in the London market," said Vijay Singh, MD of Fashion One International.

This fashion week will be its first kind to travel outside India and aims to cater NRI buyers.

"Couture to the world is bridal in India. Couture actually starts from bridal and to reach to our international audience it is important to travel outside. Indian fashion has a huge market in London," Singh said.

The Delhi edition, starting from July 23-28, will be opened by veteran designer JJ Valaya and Tarun Tahiliani will bring the curtains down to the six-day fashion event.
