India Cements, engaged in manufacturing and marketing of cements, today announced the launch of Raasi Concrete cement in Odisha market.
Odisha was a very important and growing market for India Cements and Raasi concrete was being positioned as the next generation cement, the city-based company said in a statement.
Raasi Concrete is Portland Pozzolana Cement produced by inter-grinding technology that provides maximum strength and was designed to give buildings 'durability', it said.

BSLI, Peerless tie up for corp agency
* Birla Sun Life Insurance (BSLI) has partnered Peerless Financial Products Distribution (PFPD) for a corporate agency.
BSLI, the life insurance arm of Aditya Birla Financial Services Group, inked a pact with PFPD for the tie-up.
As per the MoU, the Peerless is now a corporate agent of BSLI. This will enable Peerless to offer BSLI products to its customers in the urban, semi-urban and rural areas.

*DTH player DishTV has tied up with Shemaroo Entertainment to launch a new premium service called 'Miniplex', to expand their gradient of value added services.
This premium movie service will premiere latest blockbuster movies every Friday, it said in a statement.
Additionally, it is an ad free subscription-based service which will also showcase other recent movies, it added.
"With this latest addition to our value added service we take the entertainment quotient a notch higher and allow movie buffs to watch latest blockbusters in the comfort of their home at relatively much reasonable cost," Arun Kumar Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer, DishTV said.

E-tailer LatestOne.Com launches B2B wholesale portal * LatestOne.Com, a mobile and tech accessories e-tailer, part of Palred Technologies today announced launch of its B2B wholesale portal.
According to Palred Technologies Chairman and Managing Director Palem Srikanth Reddy, the site has registered 50 dealers /retailers in the very first month of trial operation.
LatestOne.Com has built complete end-to-end e-commerce capabilities in the first two years of operation combining inventory led model and managed market place, with over 10,000 active SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) in the catalogue at any given point, he said at a press conference.

FreeCharge wallet partners IRCTC for railway ticket booking
* Digital payments company FreeCharge today said it has partnered with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to allow users to pay for railway ticket bookings using its mobile wallet.
IRCTC processes over 180 million transactions on its platform and with the partnership with FreeCharge, customers can pay in a swift and secure way, FreeCharge said in a statement.

MTNL partners with MobiKwik for cashless bill payment * Digital payments company MobiKwik today announced partnership with state-owned Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) to enable cashless bill payment for its users in Mumbai.
MTNL landline users can now pay their bills seamlessly with their mobile phones within seconds using MobiKwik, a MobiKwik statement said.
The company has also recently tied up with SBI Life Insurance and BSNL for payments.
MobiKwik's merchant network includes Big Bazaar, IRCTC, Grofers, Big Basket, Swiggy, FoodPanda, as well as power discoms. Users can also recharge or pay bills for their DTH and phone connections using the mobile wallet.

HCL Infosystems partners Omantel for IoT, M2M services * HCL Infosystems has inked an agreement with Oman-based telecom operator Omantel for Internet of Things (IOT) and Machine to Machine (M2M) services.
Under the partnership, HCL will collaborate with Omantel to roll-out large-scale ICT services and solutions across Oman.
HCL Infosystems will work closely with Omantel's newly formed ICT unit to achieve the objectives set out in the agreement.

HGS appoints Neil Rae as N America VP Sales & Client Services * Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) today said it has appointed Neil Rae as President (Sales and Client Services) for its North American operations.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Rae will oversee client management for existing clients and acquisition of new business in the US and Canada, HGS said in a statement.
He will also be a key member of HGS' Global Advisory Board and participate in overall corporate strategic planning, it added. Rae joins HGS from Transcom Worldwide.
