A special border personnel meeting between India and China was held at Natu La in Sikkim today to celebrate the 91st anniversary of foundation of the Peoples' Liberation Army (PLA), the armed forces of China.
A Defence spokesperson here said a delegation of the Indian Army comprising officers and soldiers took part in the celebration on invitation from the PLA at Natu La (pass) bordering China.
The PLA troops interacted with the visiting Indian delegation and held a cultural programme to celebrate the occasion.
The Indian Army personnel also reciprocated with traditional cultural presentations, the spokesperson said.
