India condemns terror attack in Iran's Ahwaz city

India Sunday strongly condemned the terror attack on a military parade in the Iranian city of Ahwaz in which at least 29 people were killed.

"India strongly condemns the dastardly terrorist attack in the city of Ahwaz, Iran," the ministry of external affairs said.

According to reports, gunmen, wearing military uniforms, opened fire on the Iranian military parade in Ahwaz on Saturday.

"We convey our heartfelt condolences to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and families of the victims, and wish speedy recovery to those injured," the MEA said in a statement.
