"Our team played competitive games so far against Russia and South Africa although we did not win but troubled the rival defence creating several chances but our boys did not cash on the chances which has been our setback," said India's assistant coach Etibar Ibrahimov.
"Now that we play our crucial match against China we have no option but to score when ever chances come our way and win if we are to stay in this competition. I have told my boys to me more focus and score whenever chances come our ways," he added.
"Against China, the pressure will be there. But, we will not be deterred by it as we aim for a win. We respect China as opponents and they will make it tough for us to play, it will be a good learning experience for the boys. We cannot underestimate China at any cost, as they are a strong Team capable enough to hurt us. The game is also important as we will see how the Players react when there is a must-win scenario."
China, who lost to Brazil and Russia, came up with an improved performance to hold South Africa and will be looking for the same against tomorrow.
