India lose bronze medal match 1-2 to Britain

It was India, who went ahead when V Raghunath converted a penalty corner in the 23rd minute.

However, India's joy was short lived as James Tindall struck through a penalty corner for his side after 11 minutes.

The teams put up good fight in the second half and it were hosts came out with triumphant with Rob Moore scoring the winning goal for his side in the 56th minute.

Moore's was a field goal.

Both India and Britain got three penalty corners each and converted one each.

India had earlier lost 0-3 to Australia, 2-4 to hosts Great Britain and then 1-2 against reigning Olympic champions Germany.
