The recent policy thrust on 'start-ups' and the 'Make India' campaign has triggered entrepreneurial confidence, a top official of Institute of Small Enterprises and Development (ISED) said today.
ISED Director Dr P M Mathew said a new government in power means an upswing in confidence levels, but the challenge ahead was to sustain it.
He said the 'India Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Report 2014', prepared by the Kochi-based ISED, will be formally launched at Ahmedabad on Oct 11.

Hosted by the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), in association with the Government of Gujarat, the ISED Report will be released by Gujarat Finance Minister Saurabhbhai Patel, he said in a release here.
Earlier, in 2012 and 2013, based on its Confidence Surveys, ISED had warned declining confidence among MSME entrepreneurs.
India MSME Report, the country's only comprehensive annual record on MSMEs, is being brought out by the Institute's knowledge platform, the 'ISED Small Enterprise Observatory (ISED-SEO).
