About 50 pharmaceutical companies from India have participated in an international pharma exhibition in Egypt as part of efforts by the two nations to further develop bilateral trade and economic relationship.

A large delegation of Indian pharma companies was led by the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil).

The participation at the 'Pharmaconex 2015' comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the Governments in India and Egypt, desiring to enhance the partnership, friendship and spirit of cooperation between the two countries, and to further develop trade and economic relationship between them.

Indian Charge d'Affairs Vishvas Sapkal inaugurated the Indian Pavilion in the exhibition on Saturday.

The recent participation is expected to benefit the pharma industry in both the countries and further strengthen the relationships between the two countries.
