The India Pavillion at the Cairo International Book Fair would create a platform for Indian publishers and distributors to interact with their Egyptian counterparts, India's envoy to Egypt said today.
India's Ambassador to Egypt Navdeep Suri inaugurated the India Pavilion at the 46th edition of Cairo International Book Fair.
At the inauguration, Suri mentioned that Indian text books have been traditionally popular in Egypt.

India is bringing a number of Indian companies publishing in the field of Medicines, Science, Technical, Management, Children books, educational materials etc to participate in the Cairo International Book Fair 2015 as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the partnership, friendship and spirit of cooperation between the two countries and to further develop trade and economic relationship between them.
This year's edition of the international Book Fair 2015, from January 28 to February 12, has the slogan "Culture and Innovation".
The Fair, first held in 1969, is one of the biggest book fairs worldwide, which attracts hundreds of book sellers from around the world and about 2 million visitors each year.
