It was curtains for India at the Scottish Open after men's singles player Anand Pawar and men's doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy bowed out of the 50,000 Grand Prix badminton tournament, here.

Pawar, seeded 11th, notched up a 21-13 21-13 win over Germany's Dieter Domke but he failed to get across top seed Hans-Kristian Vittinghus of Denmark, suffering a 21-12 10-21 13-21 loss to the Dane in the quarterfinals.

In men's doubles, top seeds Manu and Sumeeth too had reached the quarterfinals with a 17-21 21-17 21-14 win over England's Christopher Coles and Netherlands's Jelle Maas but the Indian pair could not tame fifth seeds Andrew Ellis and Peter Mills of England, losing 17-21 15-21 in a 32-minute match.
