India's "largest" LED screen would be installed to project Haryana's glorious journey of development at the inaugural function of the state's golden jubilee celebrations at Gurugram on November 1, the state government said today.

"The LED screen, which measures 220 by 34 feet, will be installed at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram," an official release said here.

A grand stage, measuring "170 by 70 feet", was also being set up at the venue, apart from bulletproof cabins for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief guest, and other VVIPs, it added.

Those without an invitation or an entry card would be seated in the cricket pavilion of the stadium where a separate LED screen would be installed, the release said.

Tight security arrangements were being made at the venue and 20 IPS officers have been deputed for security and traffic management. Besides, 300 CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor the security arrangements, it added.

ADGP (Law and Order) Mohammad Akil took stock of the security arrangements at the venue today.

Haryana was carved out of Punjab as a separate state on November 1, 1966.
