India Show to be held in Islamabad: PHD Chamber

Industry body PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry today said an exhibition of Indian products 'India Show' will be held at Islamabad in Pakistan next year.

"Indian exhibitors will hold an "India Show" exhibition in Islamabad in February, 2016 to further strengthen the Indo-Pak trade ties.

Around 100-150 exhibitors will be participating in the show and this expo will be supported by The Ministry of Commerce," said Dalip Sahrma, Director, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a release here.

Sharma further informed, "Concurrent to the annual event of PHD Chamber, Punjab International Trade Expo shall be organised in December this year."
 

He said five-day exhibition 'The Pakistan Show' which concluded here today was a grand success.

With over 70 exhibitors selling everything from garments to jewellery and other accessories, to home decor handicrafts, the event was a huge hit in the town, said Sharma.

The exhibition has been a platform for people-to-people interaction between the two neighboring countries, he said.
