Union Health Minister J P Nadda today met vice foreign minister of Timor-Leste Roberto Sarmento De Oliviera Soars and discussed the scope of export and manufacture of affordable generic drugs.
The existing economic engagement, commercial relationship and India's support towards development cooperation in Timor-Leste were also discussed.

Nadda also shared the status of the pact signed between both the nations in the field of healthcare and public health.
"Also discussed the potential scope of India as a leading manufacturer & exporter of efficacious & affordable generic medicines.
"Shared the status of MoU on cooperation in the field of Healthcare & Public Health b/w India & Timor-Leste that seeks the cabinet approval," he tweeted.
