India will organise a festival in Kuwait to showcase its rich artistic heritage and boost cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The '9th Cultural Festival' will be organised by Indian embassy in association with Kuwait National Museum and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) of the State of Kuwait. The fest will commence on August 24 and slated to end September 4 at the Kuwait National Museum.
The programme will exhibit photographs showcasing arts and cultural heritage of India.
The opening ceremony will take place on August 24, which will be followed by a dance performance by Thrissur Association of Kuwait along with daily non-commercial screening of prominent Bollywood films like 'Chennai Express', 'Agent Vinod', 'Talash', 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Three Idiots' from August 25 onwards.
