IndiaFirst Life Insurance today announced a partnership with Nainital Bank for distribution of its products.
"This tie-up will help us provide life insurance solutions to the customers of the bank and enhance our distribution footprint in northern India," IndiaFirst Life Insurance's Director (Sales and Marketing), Rushabh Gandhi said in a statement.
IndiaFirst Life Insurance is a joint venture between Bank of Baroda, Andhra Bank and Legal and General (UK).

Western Union appoints Sohini Rajola as regional VP * Payment services company Western Union today appointed Sohini Rajola as regional vice president for the country and South Asia.
Rajola will be responsible for managing and developing the company's business in South Asia covering India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives and Bhutan, the company said in a statement.
Prior to this, Rajola was the senior vice president and head (digital banking) at Axis Bank.

Max Life Insurance launches 'Cancer Insurance Plan' * Max Life Insurance, a joint venture between Max Financial Services and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, today announced the launch of 'Cancer Insurance Plan' to provide financial assistance across all stages of cancer.
The plan, which is non-linked non-participating, will also provide the guaranteed income benefit of up to 50 per cent of sum assured, Max Life said in a statement issued here.
"The plan has been designed to provide complete protection to the customer and is amongst the most comprehensive plans available today," Max Life Insurance Executive Vice CMD Rajesh Sud said.

* Vocational training and placement institute ICA Edu Skills has invested USD 150,000 in Delhi-based educational technology company 3Dexter.
3Dexter offers 3D printing solution to schools.
This is the third investment by ICA Edu Skills in the last one year. Earlier this year, it invested in Jaipur-based mobile app solution, Myly and Pune-based Open Door Education.
"If India wants to move up in the comity of nations, we need to improve our educational infrastructure, and technology is its most important component, today. Technological upgradation needs our immediate attention. We are happy to invest in this sector," ICA Edu Skills Founder Chairman Narendra Kumar Shyamsukha said.

TCS extends partnership with Singapore Marathon * IT services major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today said it has extended and expanded its partnership as the Official IT provider to Standard Chartered Marathon, Singapore.
TCS will provide the third-generation of the official race smartphone app and has also grown its corporate presence at the 2016 race, TCS said in a statement.
Since it was first introduced in 2014, successive annual builds of TCS' Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore app have expanded in features and functionality. The 2015 version of the app received over 27,000 downloads.
