Indian Bank will be conducting its first inter-school T20 cricket tournament for schools in the city from August 16 to 22, as part of its sports promotion activities.
The bank's managing director and chief executive officer Kishor Karat unveiled the trophies at a press meet here yesterday.
The tournament would see 16 teams taking part and would be held on league-cum-knockout basis. Matches would be held at Loyola College grounds.
Prominent schools including Bhavan's Rajaji Vidhyashram, St Bede's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Santhome Higher Secondary School, PSBB (KK Nagar) and Madras Christian College will take part.
