Indian CEO of languages school found dead in Thailand

A 37-year-old Indian man, CEO of a school of languages in Thailand, was today found hanging by a scarf inside its premises, police said here.

The man, identified as Rajesh Singh, was the CEO of the Smith English School of Languages and allegedly committed suicide due to money problems, they said.

Singh's body, clad ina white T-shirt and white trousers, was hanging by a scarf around his neck from the handrail of a staircase leading to the second floor of the house-cum- language school in Pathum Thani district, north of Bangkok, police said.

They added that a two-page handwritten suicide note written in English was found in his bedroom.
 

In the letter, the deceased allegedlycomplained about money problems driving him to take his life.

The housekeeper who discovered his body told policethe man ran the language school jointly with his friends, but stayed in the house alone.

He had lately complained about financial problems, she said.

Police said they would examine the noteand also interrogate his business partners.

The man's body would be sent for a post-mortem, they added.
