The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) today said that Indian players will compete in the International Billiards and Snooker Federation World 6-Red and Team Championships to be held in Karachi from August 6 to 15.
PBSA President Alamgir Sheikh told PTI that the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) has sent the passport details of 26 probable players and coaches from India so that the PBSA could start process to obtain visas or them.
"We are happy that the Indians have sent their entries so fast now we have ample time to send their passports and documents for process to the concerned ministries," he said.

"India's confirmation and entries will encourage other countries to also send their entries for the championships as we also want to host the World Championships in a grand manner and that the participants don't face any kind of trouble."
Sheikh said the Indian federation has informed them it would send final list of players and officials after trials.
"For now, they have sent the names of 26 cueists which will be reduced to maybe 16 and their other officials and coaches including the BSFI President Captain PV Mohan, who is also the IBSF President along with the Honorary Secretary of BSFI Balasubramanium as they will also attend the world championship."
Sheikh said in the past cueists of both countries had faced problems obtaining visas to play in Pakistan or India.
