A 29-year-old Indian allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Malaysia, media reports said today.

Ryoskhan Kose Avardeen was found dead yesterday evening at his house in Borneo state by his neighbours, who then alerted the police, Borneo Post reported.

Avardeen may have hanged himself in his rented house in Limbang Housing, the report said.

There was no sign of injuries on the victim's body, police said.

"The body has been sent to the Limbang Hospital for postmortem while the Indian High Commission has been informed through Interpol," said Mohd Bukhori Saffai, district police chief superintendent.
