A 41-year-old Indian manager has been jailed for five years and fined for selling banned party drug in Bahrain, a media report said today.
The Indian along with a 37-year-old Sri Lankan driver were sentenced by Bahrain's High Criminal Court yesterday for selling methamphetamine, the Gulf Daily News reported.
Both the accused were fined Bahraini dinar 3,000 (around USD 7,960).
The court also sentenced another co-defendant, a 34-year-old Bahraini, for two years for using and possessing prescribed pills and heroin, the report said.
