The band will also perform at Ismailia on April 28; and at Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria on April 30.
Indian Ocean fuses raga (traditional Indian tunes) with rock music, guitars and drums, sometimes using Indian folk songs, and gives a soulful rendition.
Music critics describe it as "Indo-rock fusion with jazz-spiced rhythms that integrates sufism, shlokas (Indian epic verses), environmentalism, mythology and revolution".
The band has released five albums and has contributed music to several Bollywood films as well.
The band's landmark release came in the year 2000 in the form of the album Kandisa which cemented Indian Ocean's presence in the non-Bollywood music industry and the band gained widespread attention and acclaim.
