Indian police wrestlers bag 5 gold, 7 other medals in Belfast

Indian police wrestlers gave a glorious performance on the mat as they won five gold medals on the fifth day of World Police and Fire Games here today.

Besides the gold medals, the seven-member Indian wrestling team also bagged four silver and three bronze.

In the free-style category, Laxmi Narayan of Border Security Force won a gold medal in the 60kg category while Manoj Kumar from CRPF won a silver in the same class.

Haryana Police's Naveen Mor won a gold in 96kg category while his state mate Jitender Kumar bagged a silver medal in 74kg category.

In the 84kg free-style, Surajbeer Singh of Punjab police won a bronze while Vikramjit Singh of CRPF took the bronze in the 96kg category.
