From Kashmir's 'Nadru Yakhani' (lotus stem dish) to 'Macher Jhol' (Bengali fish curry) - it was a complete Indian spread for the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is here as the Special Envoy of President Xi Jinping.

During a working lunch with her Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj as part of a three-hour-long meeting on entire gamut of bilateral, regional and international issues, Wang was also served 'Sula Kabab' (tandoori lamb strip) and 'Bhindi Kurkuri' (fried okra).

Interestingly, there were no continental or international dishes in the spread which included 'Jhinga Samarkand' (Tandoori Prawn), 'Lauki Nazaqat' (slices of stuffed gourd) and 'Kesar Kheer' (rice cooked in milk with saffron).

The meeting was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan - office of External Affairs Ministry.
