Indian team for South Asian Junior Athletics C'ships announced

The selection committee of Athletics Federation of India (AFI) today announced a 56-member team for the 2nd South Asian Junior (under-20) Athletics Championships to be held in Ranchi from November 10-12.

The team includes 31 junior men and 25 junior women for the competition to be held at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium.

The athletes was selected on the basis of performances in the recently concluded National Inter-Zonal Athletics Championships at Kochi and Asian Schools Track and Field Championships in Malaysia, the AFI said in a release.
