The collaboration comes after the launch of the Wales India Season at the recently concluded Kolkata Book Fair here.

The project titled 'out of the blue' which is targeted towards children will be performed across India while the team will be on tour.

The projects is one of the two projects by the team that had a direct link with Kolkata.

Another collaboration between Parthian Books and Bee Books resulted in 'Through The Valley, The City, The Village', that will bring together three writers each from West Bengal and Wales.

The project will also result in a trilingual publication of new writing in Bengali, English and Welsh.

"These two pieces are part of Wales India Season's 11 projects in total, celebrating cultural connections across art forms in dance, literature, music in theatre and visual art, show the rich and vibrant cultural connections in Wales and India," Gemmel said.
