Indian worker died in road accident in Oman

A 29-year-old Indian worker has died in a road accident in Oman's capital Muscat after his car hit a divider and overturned, a media report said today.

The victim who hails from Kerala died on Friday in Samail while he was returning back to Nizwa after visiting his father in Nakhal, Times of Oman reported.

The man identified as P Najeem was working with a private firm with Nizwa, the report said.

"Najeeb was on his way to Nizwa from Muscat when the car he was driving crashed into a divider and overturned," Shameer P T K, a social worker was quoted as saying by the newspapaer.
 

The body of victim is kept at the Samail Hospital.

Meanwhile Najeeb's father has been hospitalised following a cardiac arrest on hearing the news of his son, the report said.
