The new flights would mean the airline now operates 16 daily and direct flights between Dubai and India.
IndiGo Airline announced that it will introduce new daily and non-stop flights between Dubai and Thiruvananthpuram and a second daily and non-stop flight between Dubai and Mumbai.
IndiGo operates 61 Airbus A320s - 6E that carries 377 daily flights, connecting 33 destinations.
"Dubai holds a lot of promise for us at IndiGo and indeed is a key market for us. Expanding operations on this route is in line with our growth strategy outlined for the middle-east region," Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo said.
He said that there are strong trade and tourism ties between Dubai and India and travelers have requirements of low fares by an Indian airline.
