IndiGo introduces 6 new flights

Budget carrier IndiGo has introduced six new flights connecting various destinations with effect from today.

These include a second daily non-stop flight between Delhi-Coimbatore, a third daily non-stop service on the Chennai-Coimbatore sector and a 5th daily non-stop flight on the Kolkata-Chennai route, IndiGo said in a statement here.

With a fleet of 84 Airbus A320 Aircraft, India's largest domestic airline by market share operates 548 domestic and international flights, connecting 36 destinations.

IndiGo President and Executive Director Aditya Ghosh said "2014 has been a great year for IndiGo and we promoted routes and connectivity that added immense value to our passengers' travel in addition to a great flying experience."
 

"With the announcement of these new flights, we feel encouraged by our customers' support and feedback by our passengers, especially those from Coimbatore, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai," he said.
