: Low cost carrier IndiGo today launched two flights from this city to Delhi.
This maiden flight will be operated from Delhi to Madurai via Chennai and return to the national capital touching Chennai.
Madurai will be IndiGo's 37th domestic and 42nd overall destination.
Totally Indigo said it would operate 883 daily flights.
It will also operate Madurai-Hyderabad flight service daily from March 26 2017.
Aditya Ghosh, Director, IndiGo told reporters here that Madurai is the cultural captial of tamil Nadu and also a pilgrim centre with a lot of tourist centres. The city would now be added to the IndiGo network, he said.
