The State Election Commission today issued orders for conducting indirect elections to various offices of urban and rural local bodies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Accordingly, elections for offices of Zilla Parishad, Mandal Praja Parishad and Municipal Corporations would be held in the first week of July.
The direct elections to the urban and rural bodies were held in March and April this year.
