Hundreds of Indo-Canadian youths participated in a campaign to spread awareness about AIDS and raise funds for a charity for HIV-infected people.
"This year is our goal is to raise Canadian dollar 4,00,000 that will help AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) to meet the needs of 20,000 people who have been tested positive for HIV," the campaign's organiser, Scotia Bank's senior manager Sante Tesolin said.
"Youths, wearing red shirts and carrying placards, participated in the five-km walk to spread awareness about the disease on Sunday," he added.

Around 40 million people are infected with HIV across the world, of which around 65,000 people are in Canada.
