A three-day 'Indo-Global Healthcare Summit and Expo' on innovations and advances will be held here from June 20-22.
The event is being jointly organised by Indian Medical Association, Andhra Pradesh government, Federation of AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Indus Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation for promotion of healthcare.
The summit and the expo will provide a platform for identifying and sharing successful innovative models of healthcare delivery from around the world which will help professionals, entrepreneurs, industry players, global institutions to collaborate for taking advantage of the latest innovations and advances, Indus Foundation (New Jersey) president S A Anumolu told reporters.

Secretary, Medical Research and Director-General, Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), V M Katoch will inaugurate the summit.
The summit is organised in the backdrop of Indian healthcare industry recording a phenomenal 12 per cent growth in the last 4 years, said C D Arha, chairman of the Indus Foundation and former Chief Information Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh, adding that "it is expected to grow from a USD 70 billion now to USD 145 billion in 2017 and to USD 280 billion industry by 2020.
