"We are moving out of the trust deficit zone, and that is a prerequisite for us to be able to really sit on the negotiating table and solve most important issues," Khar told reporters during an interaction in Tehran.

Pakistan is looking forward to the upcoming talks between the two leaders to resolve the most important issues, she said.

She was speaking a day ahead of a meeting between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Asif Ali Zardari in Tehran on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement Summit.

All previous talks between the two leaders have been very useful, particularly their meeting in New Delhi in April, she said.

"We hope the same spirit would continue in Tehran," she remarked.

"Both countries need to show commitment to move forward. As far as Pakistan is concerned, it is committed to moving forward beyond any other issues that might arise between the two countries," she said.

This will be the second meeting between Zardari and Singh in four months.

The Pakistani President held talks with Singh when he made a private visit to India in April to pray at a Sufi shrine in Ajmer.

Khar is scheduled to meet her Indian counterpart S M Krishna in Islamabad during September 7-8 to review the last round of the dialogue between the two countries and to frame the roadmap for the next round of parleys.
