Indore-Bhopal double-decker train to stop running after Aug 12

The Indore-Bhopal air-conditioned double decker railway train will run for the last time on August 12 following a decision to wind up its operations due to huge losses.

The train was inaugurated with much fanfare on September 27 last year by then Minister of State for Railways, Adheer Ranjan Choudhary.

Official orders to stop running the train have been received by the Bhopal Railway division from the Railway Board.

The train was incurring a daily loss of Rs 40,000 because of which had become unviable.
