Dismissing the plaints filed by local lawyer Indrajeet Singh Bhatia on June 13 and June 29, judicial magistrate Jitendra Singh Kushwaha observed that under section 200 of CrPC, 1973, the prima facie offence could not be made out against Kejriwal and Bedi and hence the complaints were not registered and stand rejected.

Bhatia had contended that the alleged remarks by the Team Anna members had "hurt" his sentiments.

Referring to Bhatia's contention, the court said that it was not clear how the complainant was "insulted" by the alleged remarks made by Kejriwal and Bedi in their speeches.

Bhatia told reporters that he would challenge the local court's order in the sessions court and argue for maintenance of the complaints.
