Medical and health services were affected in MY Hospital, Chacha Nehru Hospital and other hospitals as over 200 medical teachers boycotted work and teaching to hold a demonstration in their respective hospitals, MPMTA's Indore President Poonam Mathur said.

Besides demanding UGC grades and allowances, the MPMTA also put forth a charter of demands including pension benefits, group insurance, arrears' payment, she said, adding that a memorandum was submitted to Acting Dean of Indore Medical College Sanjay Dixit.
