In futures, castorseeds recovered on speculative offtake on the back of fresh export enquiries.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,525 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 3,500 and castor oil commercial went up by Rs 5 to Rs 735 per 10 kg from Rs 730. Linseed oil added by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 815 as against Rs 810 previously.
Turning to futures, castorseed December contract resumed steady at Rs 3,795 and moved in a range of Rs 3,850 and Rs 3,780 before settling at Rs 3,845 as compared to Rs 3,795 last weekend, showing a gain of Rs 50 per tonne.
However, moving to edible segment, groundnutoil and refined palmolein prices closed unchanged at Rs 1,140 and Rs 527 per 10 kg respectively.
