Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial prices advanced in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on stockist buying amid rising demand from soap and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, groundnutoil, refined palmolein and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseed bold rose by Rs 15 per 100kg to Rs 3,635 from Friday's closing level of Rs 3,620 and castoroil commercial edged up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 757 as compared to Rs 755 yesterday.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 1,150 per 10kg.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil and refined palmolein unaltered at Rs 1,420 per 10kg and Rs 595 per 10kg respectively.
