Refined palmolein also edged down on lower retail offtake.
Groundnut oil and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold moved down by by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,625 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 3,650 and castor oil commercial slipped by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 755 from Rs 760.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 760 per 10 kg.
Moving to edible section, refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 486.
However, groundnut oil ended unaltered at Rs 950 per 10 kg.
