Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial prices gained modestly in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on consistent demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, refined palmolein and linseed oil all ruled stable due to lack of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold strengthened by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 4,085 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 4,075 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 847 from Rs 845.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 765 per 10kg.
Moving to edible section, Groundnutoil and refined palmolein closed unaltered at Rs 780 and Rs 502 per 10kg, respectively.
