Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial surged in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to sustained demand from shippers and soap manufacturing units.
While groundnut oil, refined palmolein and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold jumped by Rs 70 per 100 kg to Rs 4,375 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 4,305 and castoroil commercial rose by Rs 14 per 10 kg to Rs 905 as against Rs 891 previously.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 830 per 10 kg.
Moving to edible-section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unaltered at Rs 1,000 and Rs 572 per 10 kg, respectively.
