Senior IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) in Kerala K M Abraham today said information related to the probe against him in a disproportionate assets case is being leaked to the media for 'maligning' his reputation.
Abraham sent a letter in this regard to State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau Director Jacob Thomas and Home Secretary Nalini Netto.
Referring to a media report with regard to the probe process in the case, Abraham said "the confidential inquiry being conducted by the vigilance team is finding its way into the media. This is clearly intended to malign my reputation."

He also denied that he attempted to thwart the probe againt him.
The senior IAS officer said he was keen that a transparent and thorough investigation be done in the 'Quick Verification' ordered by a special Vigilance Court.
Last month, Abraham in a letter to Chief Minister Pinaryi Vijayan had complained that Thomas was acting vengefully against him.
